❓ Frequently Asked Questions

📥 How do I get my games recorded?▼

Simply download LGNbot and run it once. You don't need to keep it open afterwards. Every game you play on a supported map (Legion TD 11.3a or newer) will automatically be recorded and sent to the server.

👑 What is "ELO 25+" ranking?▼

ELO 25+ is our competitive ranking that only counts games where at least 6 out of 8 players are known good players (players with established ELO). This ensures your ELO reflects your skill against other skilled players, not just casual games. It's the most accurate measure of top-level performance.

🐛 My game wasn't recorded – what do I do?▼

Check these common issues:

  • Is LGNbot running (or was it opened at least once)?
  • Are you using a supported map (Legion TD 11.3a or newer)?
  • Did the game last more than ~3 minutes? Very short games are ignored.
  • Check your internet connection – the bot will retry failed uploads later.

If you still have issues, ask in the Community Chat with details (time, players, map).

⚖️ How does ELO work?▼

It uses a modified ELO system similar to chess:

  • Everyone starts at 1500 ELO.
  • Winning against higher-ranked players gives more points; losing to lower-ranked players loses more points.
  • ELO changes are based on team averages and the game outcome.

The K‑factor (how much ELO can change per game) is 32 for new players and 24 for established players.

🗺️ What map versions are supported?▼

Currently supported: Legion TD 11.3a Team OZE (latest – recommended) and older 11.3/11.2 versions. BETA maps are recorded but do not affect ELO – they are for testing only. Always download the latest map from maps.w3reforged.com.

🔧 Do I need to keep the bot open all the time?▼

No. You only need to run the bot once. After that, your future games will be recorded automatically, even if the bot isn't open. If you want to use the hosting features (balancing, commands), you must keep it running while you host.
